1. These terms
By buying, downloading or using ScreenCameo, you agree to these terms. "We" and "us" means the maker of ScreenCameo, Anmol Kulshreshtha. "You" means the person or organization that bought or uses the license.
2. Your license
- A license is a one-time purchase. It isn't a subscription and nothing renews automatically.
- One license lets one person use ScreenCameo on up to 3 Macs that they use. You can move it to a new Mac by removing it from an old one in Settings → License.
- You can use ScreenCameo for personal and commercial work, and you own everything you create with it.
- Please don't share, resell or publish your license key. Keys that are shared publicly or refunded can be turned off.
3. Updates
Your license includes every update released in the 12 months after you buy. After that, the versions you already have keep working with no time limit. Versions released later show a Renew updates option in the app; renewing is optional.
4. Refunds
There's no free trial. Instead, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of buying by emailing support@screencameo.com. When a refund is made, the license key stops working. See the refund policy for details. This doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
5. Using ScreenCameo responsibly
You're responsible for what you record and share. Only record content you have the right to record, and respect other people's privacy and the law where you are. Don't reverse engineer the license check or remove it.
6. Privacy
ScreenCameo works on your Mac without an account. Our privacy policy explains the little that is sent over the internet and why.
7. No warranty
We work hard to make ScreenCameo reliable, but it's provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will be free of bugs or suit every purpose. Keep backups of recordings that matter to you.
8. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to ScreenCameo is limited to the amount you paid for your license, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data. Nothing here excludes liability that can't be excluded by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applied when you bought keeps applying to that purchase, and we'll change the date at the top when anything changes.
